My heart breaks for Andre's family and friends... through many conversations he spoke of his hopes and his heartache for those struggling around him. Andre had eyes that just drew you in with hope and passion for life. The love his family embraced him with was inspiring and uplifting and I think that in itself is perhaps Andre's legacy.... that LOVE can offer the greatest amount of HOPE... that when we see loved ones burdened and suffering, we must embrace them and refuse to allow them to suffer alone.... that the care of another can bring them to the very place we believe they can be, and help them become who their heart strives for the very most.... too often, people are tossed aside because the burden seems too great for those around them, when it is then that they need us the very most. That is the greatest thought I have when I remember Andre... that the LOVE of his family was profound and genuine and so very lasting ... and for that he lived a truly BLESSED life here on earth... and for that he will be drawn through the gates of heaven with a divine care that we all hope to know ourselves in the eternal heavens. May you rest in the heavens, embraced by our creator and assured by the LOVE of those God entrusted you to in this temporary place.... and may WE all be accountable in the lessons you've shown and be a part of the solution.... and may God embrace and bless those who loved you in this time of sorrow.....

Marcus and Family my sincerest condolences to all of you and the rest of the Geiger clan in this heart wrenching time of loss but remember always that absent from the body is a time for rejoicing for he is present in the house of the Father in High so let’s do a praise dance for him and shout unto the Lord a worthy praise.

Bill Baker was a good friend of Marcus and would have been heartbroken to hear of your sons passing, Bill I'm sure is telling him all sorts of football stories between him and Marcus in heaven right now.

I'm just so sorry. I'm a parent now myself and I can't imagine the pain of losing a child. I pray for comfort & peace to his whole family. God, if only I had the words to describe it. "I'm sorry" just doesn't feel like enough. This young man was LOVED by so many. He had a fire for life that's rare. He inspired so many in so many ways. I know he wanted to use his ability to inspire others to help save his hometown from a growing epidemic. He wanted so much to give back to a community he loved dearly. I think that's the best gift Andre's friends can give him...to pick up where he left off; inspire and motivate others, spread love, encouragement & positivity to all those who are in this fight & to those who are impacted by the struggle. Do whatever you can to help give back to the city of Gallipolis & reach out to those in need. I hope we are all able to make his dreams ("be a part of the solution") a reality. I know I'll do my best to do just that. To carry on, keep fighting, to inspire & motivate. No one can ever take his place in this world but that's how I can help keep his memory alive. All my thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.
