Bernadine Ruth (Stover) Hill

Bernadine Ruth Hill, 88, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away peacefully Saturday, April 29, 2017 at her home. She was born November 28, 1928 at Ervin, Ohio, daughter of the late Russell Emmitt Stover and Rachel Halley Stover. She married Arthur E. “Junior” Hill October 6, 1948 in Ashland, Kentucky, and he preceded her in death November 7, 2009.

Bernadine leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Carol (John) Farmer, Gallipolis, Ohio; five grandchildren, which include two very special grandchildren who provided care, support and a tremendous amount of love, Misha McKinney and Eli “Boone” Farmer; Dax (Stephanie) Hill, Dusty Hill and Carrie (Daryl) Travis; thirteen great-grandchildren; and sister, Nina Mahan, Gallipolis, Ohio.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons: David Hill and Charles (Chuck) Hill; sisters: Genevieve Fowler, Dixie Thompson, Wilma Wheaton, Ewart May Stover and brothers: Charles Stover, Tracy Stover, Garland Stover, Glenn Stover, Harland Stover and a grandson, Joshua Farmer.

Graveside services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Thursday, May 4, 2017 in Mina Chapel Cemetery, Gallipolis, Ohio with Pastor Rick Barcus officiating. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis is honored to serve the Hill Family.
