Billy Eugene Hale, 84, Vinton, Ohio (Willkesville Community) went to be with the Lord in his Heavenly Home Friday, November 3, 2017 in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Huntington, West Virginia. He was a retired bus driver for the Gallia County Schools and a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of the Danville Wesleyan Church and the Vinton American Legion Post 161.

Billy was born January 6, 1933 in Gallia County, Ohio to the late John B. Hale and Dolly M. Smith Hale. He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Bertha George Hale; two sisters: Betty (Carl) Landers, Bidwell, Ohio and Shirley Greenlee, Bidwell, Ohio; two sisters-in-law and a brother-law: Beatrice "Bea" Hale, Vinton, Ohio and Lena and Elwood George, Obetz, Ohio as well as  several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenny J. Hale.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 7, 2017 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel with Pastor Paul Eckert officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park with Military Graveside Rites to be conducted by the Vinton American Legion Post #161. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday at 11:00 A M until the time of service.
