Carlotta Kay Racer

Carlotta Kay Racer, 70, Patriot, Ohio passed away Monday, October 17, 2016 at Abbyshire Place, Bidwell after a brief illness.  She was born July 24, 1946 in Mason County, West Virginia to the late Darrell Carl Racer and Winifred Mae Noel Racer.

Kay is survived by her daughters, Michelle L. (Stephen) Kidd, Charleston, West Virginia and Jennifer K. Heisey, New Castle, Indiana; son, James D. Racer, Pomeroy, Ohio; two grandchildren and one great grandchild; brother, Jewett Edward (Bev) Racer, Malta, Ohio; sisters:  Cynthia (Don) Garber, Vinton, Ohio; Linda Lou Racer, Patriot, Ohio and Diana (John) Garber, Zanesville, Ohio as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In addition to her parents she was preceded by two brothers, Thomas D. Racer and James Dean Racer.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:30 AM Friday, October 21, 2016 with John Fellure officiating in Old Pine Cemetery, Patriot, Ohio.  Family and friends may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, Friday 10:00-11:00 A.M.
