Franklin Clovis Petrie, Jr.

Franklin C. Petrie, Jr., 73, Grove City (formerly of Gallia County) passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Riverside Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. He was born September 7, 1944 in Lawrence County, Ohio, son of the late Franklin C. and Juanita Petrie, Sr. A United States Army Veteran, he served three years in the service before employment and retirement from the State of Ohio Health Department. Frank was involved with many organizations and clubs which include Centerville Masonic Lodge #371, Gallipolis Shrine Club, Columbus Aladdin Temple and Appalachian Riding Club.

Frank leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Carolyn Petrie, Grove City, Ohio; daughter, Brandy (Gary) Mount, Grove City, Ohio and son, Gus Petrie, Sweden; grandchildren: Tristan Mount, William Petrie and Zeb Petrie; brother, Jeff (Benita) Petrie, Medway, Ohio and sister, Jenny Petrie, Harrisburg, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 PM-8:00 PM Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the Gallipolis Shrine Club 4190 Bulaville Pike, Gallipolis, Ohio. Masonic services will be conducted at 7:00 PM. Please come share your precious memories with Frank’s Family and Friends. Arrangements by the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio, who is honored to serve the Petrie Family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Frank's name to the Gallipolis Shrine Club.
