Mildred "Millie" (Tenney) Triplehorn
September 20, 1933 ~ February 10, 2016 (age 82) 82 Years OldMildred “Millie” Tenney Triplehorn, 82, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away at her residence Wednesday, February 10, 2016. The daughter of the late Troy and Floy (Light) Tenney, she was born September 20, 1933 in Upshur County, West Virginia. She married John Triplehorn June 4, 1954 in Bluffton, Ohio, who survives. Millie was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Gallipolis.
She is survived by her husband, John, and children: Debbie Willis, Jackson, Ohio and Margie (Jim) Kemper, Kerr, Ohio; grandchildren: Jeremy (Amy) Willis, Jared Willis, Jordan Willis and Becky (Jimmy) Snyder, all of Jackson; Jimmy (Susan Kemper and Todd (Angie Thomas) Kemper, both of Bidwell, Ohio; great-grandchildren: Nolan Willis; Jacob and Braden Kemper; Kolt and Sheyan McGrath; Cayden and Kiersten Snyder; Alyssa and Ryan Thomas and great-great-grandchild, Hayln Grimm as well as special friends, Betty Gooldin and Nancy Evans.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandson, Tommy Kemper and one sister-in-law.
Millie was a very caring and giving person and was very proud to be a Registered Nurse. Due to her work and through volunteering at Holzer Hospital, she made the decision to donate her body to science in hope of helping to educate others. The family would like to extend special thanks to Holzer Hospice and Pastor Jack Berry for their attention and care of Millie.
Memorial services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Christ United Methodist Church, 9688 State Route 7 South, Gallipolis, Ohio with Pastor Jack Berry officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service time. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, is honored to serve the Triplehorn Family.
