Paul Edward Hollingshead

Paul E. Hollingshead, 75, Vinton, Ohio passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 at his residence. He was born February 9, 1942 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, son of the late James R. and Clara F. (Durst) Hollingshead. Paul was a 1960 graduate of North Gallia High School who retired from Bob Evans, Inc. after more than thirty-eight years of service. He married Betty Underwood Hollingshead who preceded him in death January 18, 2017 after fifty-five years of marriage.

To this union were born two children: Sheri Hollingshead, Vinton, Ohio and Paul (Becky) Hollingshead II, Jamestown, Ohio; grandchildren: Stephanie Hollingshead and Justin Hollingshead, both of Gladstone, Oregon and Philip Paul Hollingshead, Gallipolis, Ohio. He leaves four great-grandchildren: Bradley, Tatum, Brystal and Derek, all of Gladstone, Oregon and a brother, James (Vickie) Hollingshead, Point Pleasant, West Virginia and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded by a sister, Sarah Jane Camden.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis with Pastor Joe Knott officiating. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Monday 5:00-8:00 PM.
