Pearlene (Spears) Lambert

Pearlene Lambert, 83, Wilkesville, Ohio passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio. Born January 12, 1934 in Pike County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Wilson and Eva (Adkins) Spears. She married Emerson Lambert who preceded her in death January 23, 1989. Pearlene was a life-long resident of the Wilkesville area where she was an avid gardener and loved cooking for her family, who was her pride and joy.

Pearlene will be missed by her daughter, Barbara (Rick) Pierce, Langsville, Ohio and her grandchildren: Samantha (Marc) Barr, Pomeroy, Ohio; Jacob Wyatt Pierce, Langsville, Ohio; Lori Kinnison-Adkins, Oak Hill, Ohio; Bobbi Lee Conley, Lancaster, Ohio and James Robert Kinnison, Jr., Gallipolis, Ohio; great-grandchildren: Madelyn Barr, Emma Barr, Kenna Adkins, Devon Kinnison and Paige Kinnison. She also Is survived by her step-grandchildren: Michael Lambert, Blue Rock, Ohio; Randall Lambert, Heath, Ohio; Cindy Lambert and John Lambert, both of Jacksonville, Florida; brother, Homer (Fay) Spears, Elkhorn City, Kentucky and sister, Lois Ann Radliff, also of Kentucky.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by children: Janice Sue Kinnison and James Robert Kinnison; granddaughter, Trista Kinnison; step-son, Emerson Lambert, Jr.; step-daughter, Esther Bailes; sisters: Nawanna “Blue Eyes”, Marie, Betty and brother, Hermal.

Memorial services will be held, 12:30 P.M., Sunday, March 19, 2017 at the Wilkesville Presbyterian Church with Pastor Justin Roush officiating.  The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, is honored to serve Mrs. Lambert’s family during this difficult time.
