Sylvia Marie (Ross) Coleman

Sylvia Marie Coleman, 99, St. Louis, Missouri (formerly of Gallia County) passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter, Betty Jean Parran December 18,2017. She was born May 1, 1918, daughter of the late Charley and Daisy Ross, formerly of Bidwell, Ohio.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Betty Jean; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Michael O. Carter and a host of friends and relatives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Barbara Joan Carter; brother, Edward Ross and sister, Edna Cooper.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Saturday, December 23, 2017 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio. Entombment will follow at the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens, Gallipolis, Ohio. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Saturday 11:00 AM to Noon.
