Thomas Lee Back

Thomas Lee Back, 68, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 in Abbyshire Place, Bidwell, Ohio surrounded by his family and close friends. Born March 23, 1949 at Holden, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Verlon and Eva (Akers) Back. He was a Case Manager for the State of Ohio before his retirement in the early 1990’s.

Tom is survived by his nephews: Jerry L. (Penny) Back, Jr., Rembert, South Carolina and Kevin J. Back, Camden, South Carolina; great-niece and great-nephew, Joy L. Back and Joshua Back and aunts: Elizabeth Crum, Camden, South Carolina and Freda Williamson, Frazeysburg, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry L. Back, Sr.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 1, 2017 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio with Jerry Back officiating. Burial will follow in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens, Gallipolis. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 10:00 AM to the time of service.
