Virginia D. McClaskey Stout, 85, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Four Winds Nursing Home, Jackson, Ohio.  She was born in Vinton, Ohio February 13, 1931 to the late Clarence Brice and Samma Dale Russell McClaskey.  Virginia married Bruce S. Stout June 16, 1951, who preceded her death in 1983. 

She was a member of and secretary to the Bidwell High School Alumni, former member of North Gallia High School Athletic and Band Booster, active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, member of United Methodist Women’s, a member of Vinton O.E.S. Chapter #375 and a former librarian at Bidwell-Porter Elementary School.  

Virginia is survived by her sons:  Michael Bruce (Edith) Stout, Gallipolis, Ohio; Terry Lee Stout, Ft. Walton, Florida; Patrick Dale (Patricia) Stout and Timothy Robert (Rhoda) Stout, both of Bidwell, Ohio; grandchildren:  Brett and Bruce Stout, Amanda Ward and Laura Allenbaugh, Brian and Jason Stout, T.R. and Jennifer Stout-Mays, Brett and Derek Baker; fifteen great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Phyllis Mulholand and her son, Ricky McClaskey and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded by bothers Pearl Wayne McClaskey, Colby McClaskey, Marshall McClaskey, Robert McClaskey; daughters-in-law, Linda Stout and Cindy Stout.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday July 21, 2016 in the Trinity United Methodist Church, Porter, Ohio with Reverends Dan Lamphier, Jack Berry and Pastor Bob Powell officiating.  Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park.  Friends may call 5:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Porter. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel is honored to serve the Stout Family.
