Michael Laurence Donohue

Michael Laurence Donohue, 40, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024 in Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, West Virginia. Michael was born September 11, 1983 in Athens County, Ohio, son of Teresa Wingo (Brian) Taylor and the late Michael Ray Donohue.

A self-employed laborer, he enjoyed spending time fishing and camping – most of all, he loved his children.

Michael is survived by his mother, Teresa (Brian) Taylor, Gallipolis, Ohio; children: Michael (Kierra Thivener) Donohue, Austin (Emily Buckley) Donohue, Benjamin Taylor and Lilly Donohue; brothers: Joshua Wingo, Timothy Donohue, Robert Taylor and sisters: Jennifer Warren and Tabitha Taylor. Also missing Michael are grandfathers, J.D. (Sheila) Taylor and Terry Wingo; long-time girlfriend, Megan Fisher as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded by grandmother, Sharon Wingo, grandparents, Laurence and Flora Donohue and uncle, Craig Taylor.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 4:00 PM in Krodel Park, Point Pleasant, West Virginia. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio is honored to serve the family.
