Pamela "Pamm" Sue (Carter) Glassburn

Pamela Sue Glassburn, 77, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Friday, February 23, 2024 in Hospice of Huntington, Huntington, West Virginia. Pamm was born April 23, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Carson and Anna (Barker) Carter. She worked as a United States Postal carrier before her retirement at which time she became a full-time caregiver to her grandchildren. Pamm enjoyed supporting River Valley Raider sports teams and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #375, Vinton Chapter, Vinton, Ohio.

Pamm will be deeply missed by her daughter, Aimee (Mike) Glassburn-O’Bryan, Bidwell and her grandchildren: Shelby (Gaby) Smittle, Chelsea (Dalton) Jarrell, Ty Smittle, Woota O’Bryan, Levi (Michelle) Brandeberry, Cobi (Jaimee Wooldridge) Brandeberry and Addison “Addi” Glassburn.

Also missing Pamm are her great-grandchildren: Tyson, Macey, Miley and Kenna Jarrell; Cameron Brandeberry, Myles Brandeberry and Lucas Brandeberry; Bella Runyon; sister, Norma Carter, Lancaster, Ohio and her special lifelong companion, Jim Glassburn as well as many extended family members, community members and friends.

Pamm was preceded by her parents, her son, James C. “J.C” Glassburn, daughter, Jane Ann Glassburn-Brandeberry and grandson, Jamie Glassburn.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 27, 2024 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio with Pastor Ed Mollohan and Rev. Gene Armstrong co-officiants. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Bidwell, Ohio. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Monday, February 26 from 5:00-7:00 PM. Eastern Star service will begin at 7:00 PM performed by OES #375.
