Carl M. Simpkins

Carl M. Simpkins, 80, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away December 31, 2017 at Holzer Senior Care, Bidwell. He was born March 28, 1937 in Mingo County, West Virginia, son of the late George Milton Simpkins and Mary Marie Wright Simpkins. He was a 1955 graduate of Lenore High School, Lenore, West Virginia. He retired from Kaiser Aluminum of Ravenswood, West Virginia following more than 35 years of service.       

Carl is survived by daughters: Jayne (Jeff) Burger, Gallipolis, Ohio; Debbie (Ron) Femi, Louisville, Kentucky and Carla (Gary) Estep, Wytheville, Virginia; two granddaughters: Lillian Tabor and Ashley (Brandon) Carroll, both of Louisville, Kentucky; grandson, Christopher (Camela) Shepherd, Bluefield, West Virginia and three great granddaughters, Scarlett Tabor, Hailey and Aubrey Shepherd

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara I. Simpkins, September 5, 2017.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services. Cremation services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, who is honored to serve the Simpkins Family.
