Charles Gene McMillin

Charles G. McMillin, 62, Vinton, Ohio passed away at his home Friday, February 23, 2018. He was born in Mason County, West Virginia, July 5, 1955, son of the late Leo Dale and Alma Pearl (Gooch) McMillin. He was employed for forty-one years at GKN Sinter Metals, Gallipolis, Ohio and a member of Joseph Freeman American Legion Post 476, Wilkesville, Ohio as well as a former member of Vinton Volunteer Fire Department. He loved his family and working his farm with his brother, Ralph.

Charles leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Carolyn (Howard) McMillin and children: Jimmy McMillin and Bridget (Raysean) Allen, all of Vinton, Ohio; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brothers: John (Linda) McMillin, Gallipolis, Ohio and Ralph (Cindy) McMillin, Vinton, Ohio as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, with Pastor David Greer officiating. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Wednesday 11:00 AM to the time of service.
