Charles "Charlie" Jackson Obituary

Charles E. “Charlie” Jackson, 73, Gallipolis, Ohio died October 2, 2018 in the Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio following a lengthy illness. Born in Bidwell, Ohio July 23, 1945, he was the son of the late Wesley and Irene (Borden) Jackson. Charlie was employed by Mitchell Logging for many years and he loved being outdoors enjoying the beauty of nature.

Charlie is survived by a sister, Beverly Jackson, Bidwell, Ohio and brothers: Arnold (Brenda) Jackson and Robert (Nellie) Jackson, both of Bidwell, Ohio; Lee (Carmen) Jackson, North Carolina and sister-in-law, Carolyn Jackson, Cincinnati, Ohio as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Cheryl Seward and brothers, Ronald Jackson, Roger Jackson and an infant brother, Perry Jackson.

The family would like to thank Holzer Medical Center, Holzer Hospice and the nurses on 4West for their loving care and kindness during Charlie’s illness.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services. Cremation services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio who is honored to serve the Jackson Family.
