Helen Louise (McNealey) West

Helen Louise McNealey West, 104, Gallipolis, Ohio died at her residence Thursday, December 5, 2019. Born September 17, 1915 in Gallipolis, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John Charles and Mittie (Fadeley) McNealey. A 1933 Graduate of Gallia Academy High School, she was employed for forty years by Commercial & Savings Bank. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Gallipolis. Helen married Wendell P. West, who preceded her in death.

Helen is survived by a niece, Linda (Gary) Anderson, Greensboro, North Carolina; nephew, Jeff (Sara) McNealey, Columbus, Ohio as well as her neighbor, Karen Miller and Family, Gallipolis, Ohio; special friends, Erica Walters and Cassie Allison, both of Gallipolis, Ohio; several great nieces and nephews and her fur baby, Miss Kitty.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers: Paul McNealey and John McNealey; sisters, Nellie Henson and Mary Walker and five infant brothers and sisters.

Memorial services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, May 27, 2021 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Mark Parsons II officiating. Cremation service is under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio who is honored to serve Helen’s wishes.
