Jim was a great guy. I spent 25 years teaching with him on the faculty of North Gallia High School and his room was a gathering place in the mornings before class and also lunch. Many memories were made in those gatherings and God will enjoy hearing the many stories of the students Mr. Burleson touched.

To the Burleson Family,
So sorry to read about the passing of Jim. I had just asked Kail at church about him. He was one of my favorite teachers at NGHS (class of 68). I also enjoyed having you Jan as my gym teacher. I think it is wonderful how you and your family cared for Jim at home after his stroke and let him live out his life farming as he loved. May you cherish all those good memories of him to help you thru the days ahead. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this difficult time.
RIP Jim Burleson......

I am so sorry to hear of the death of Jim. I enjoyed the time that I worked with him at North Gallia and learned about life talking with him. What I remember the most were the talks we had when Jay, Jeff, and Justy played football for me. I will miss your Dad even though I have not seen him for awhile.

I am sorry to tell you that it looks like I will not be able to make the service since I have a doctors appointment in Jackson. I have been have my own health issues here of late. I send prayers for you all!
