Dr. Jamshed R. Nuggud, 83, born May 12, 1936 and passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 at 2:00 PM in Holzer Assisted Living Facility, Gallipolis, Ohio. He was the son of Ruttonshaw Nuggud, who was one of the first persons to walk from Burma to India on Burma Road during World War II, and Soona Ogra Nuggud.
He is survived by his wife, Shirin Nuggud, who has been the post and pillar of his life and he has always been true to her. Dr. Nuggud is also survived by his brother, Rohinton Nuggud of Cleveland Ohio; sister, Veena Ogra, of Gainesville, Florida; three nephews and his wife’s nephew who lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
In addition to his parents, Jamshed was preceded in death by a younger sister, Amy Meherhomjee, who passed away in India.
According to his wishes, cremation services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 10:30 AM-12:20 PM.
