John “Anthony” Sipple, Jr., 20, Patriot, Ohio passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at his residence. The son of John Anthony and Jennifer Jo (Harmon) Sipple, Patriot, Ohio, he was born May 26, 1997 at Gallipolis, Ohio. Anthony was a 2016 Gallia Academy High School Graduate as well as a 2016 Graduate of Rio Grande University with an Associate’s Degree in General Studies. He was a member of Scout Troop 200, Gallipolis, Ohio, where he earned his Eagle Scout Award; West Virginia Institute of Technology Varsity Baseball Team and the Ohio Oil & Gas Energy Foundation.

Anthony is survived by his parents and a brother, Wyatt Joseph Sipple and sister, Ryelee Malayna Sipple, both of Patriot, Ohio; maternal grandparents, Joe and Betty Harmon, Johnstown, Ohio and paternal grandparents, John and Rosemary Sipple, Gallipolis, Ohio. Also surviving are aunts: Abby (Eric) Whitt, Bidwell, Ohio; Mandy Sipple, Raleigh, North Carolina; Terri “Aunt T” Kocak, Pataskala, Ohio and Robyn Hatfield, Gallipolis, Ohio; cousins: Bridgit and Brad Harris, Gallipolis, Ohio; Brandi Burke, Pataskala, Ohio; Dustin Burke, Johnstown, Ohio; Hayden Whitt, Bidwell, Ohio; Tyler Green and Caiden Ross, Pataskala, Ohio; Mitzi Metzger and Amanda Metzger, Johnstown, Ohio and Carter Harris and Addison Harris, Gallipolis, Ohio as well as a host of friends, classmates and extended family members.

Memorial services will be conducted 7:00 PM Friday, July 14, 2017 at the Gallia Academy High School, Gallipolis, Ohio with Eric Whitt officiating. The family will receive friends at the school 5:00-7:00 PM. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio is honored to have been called upon to serve the Sipple Family.
