Margie Lynn (Halfhill) Wheaton

Margie Lynn (Halfhill) Wheaton, 56, Cheshire, Ohio went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 27, 2018. Born July 8, 1962 in Pomeroy, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Dana Ray and Etta Jo (Fitch) Halfhill. She attended Laurel Cliff Free Methodist Church in Pomeroy, Ohio.

Margie is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years, Kenneth Wheaton, Cheshire, Ohio and daughters: Coilla Wheaton, Cheshire, Ohio; Kendra (Timothy) Webb, Dayton, Ohio and Lindsey (Alan) Mount, Gallipolis, Ohio; special grandson, Eli Mount; brothers and sister, Ed (Kim) Halfhill, Bidwell, Ohio; Rankin Halfhill, Cheshire, Ohio and Rhonda (Doug) Rainey, Findlay, Ohio as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, John Furst and brother, Dana Hershel Halfhill.

Margie was a special lady who was like a mother figure to many. She loved her family, animals, coffee and chocolate! She dedicated her life to helping others and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday, November 30, 2018 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio with Pastor Bill O’Brien officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Friday 11:00 AM to the time of service.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Webb, Alan Mount, John Smith, Tyler Gaus, Jonathan Gaus, Michael Johnson and honorary Pallbearers Wesley Cox, Chris Burd and Andrew Morrison.
