Norris Price, 91, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away peacefully Monday, September 2, 2019 in his home after a lengthy illness. Born February 17, 1928 in Huntington, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Millard and Della (Adkins) Price. A United States Army Veteran – Air Force Division, he was employed by the State of Ohio as an Engineer until his retirement. He married Lillian Lee Merritt Price and they enjoyed 65 years of marriage before she preceded him in death May 19, 2013.
To this union were born three daughters: Karen Lemley Brady, Gallipolis, Ohio; Kimberly (James) Norman, Vinton, Ohio and Brenda (Richard) Cheney, Gallipolis, Ohio; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Mae Jeffries and Leah Halls Parsons and brother Ralph "Bill" Price as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Willard, Pat and Millard, Jr. and two sisters, Nora Hargis and Edna Nickill.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, September 6, 2019 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio. Burial followed in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens, Gallipolis.
