Yolande "Sue" (Smith) Freyberg

Yolande “Sue” Freyberg, 71, Bidwell, Ohio passed away at her home Friday, January 25, 2019 after a lengthy illness. She was born February 28, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of Virginia (Dudley) Smith and the late William Smith. Sue graduated from the Ohio State University in 1973 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and she was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, Gallipolis, Ohio.

Sue is survived by her husband, Robert Freyberg, Bidwell, Ohio and her mother, Virginia, Gallipolis, Ohio; nephew, Shannon William Smith, Lancaster, Ohio and several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Daniel Freyberg and brother, Danny William Smith.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 10:30 AM Monday, January 28, 2019 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio with Father Hamm officiating. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Sunday 5:00-7:00 PM.
