Adam S. Smith, 33, Thurman, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at his home. He was born September 18, 1984 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Alan and Annette S. Moore Smith. He was a member of Gallipolis Elks Lodge #107 and Gallipolis H.O.G. Club. He was employed by S & J Lumber of Thurman, Ohio and owner/operator of Smith Performance of Thurman, Ohio. Adam enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles.
Adam is survived by his parents, Alan and Annette Smith, Thurman, Ohio; maternal grandparents, Ray and Lawana Moore, paternal grandparents, John and Shirley Smith, Thurman, Ohio; aunt, Linda (Chad) Connard, Thurman, Ohio and several cousins, extended family members and a host of friends.
Adam was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal great-grandparents.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the McCoy Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Rio Grande, Ohio. Friends may call on the family 6:00–8:00 PM Friday, November 3, at the funeral home.
