Albert Sheridan Dunn

Albert Sherdian Dunn Jr., 71, Ewington, Ohio, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014 in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. He retired from farming several years ago but still loved working in his corn fields and raising a few cattle. Albert was born to Albert and Effie (Sisson) Dunn Sr., December 18, 1942 in Apple Grove, West Virginia.

He was father to Amy Lynn Dunn of Ewington and grandfather to Amber Daily, Steven Simpkins and Kaitlyn Dunn. In addition, he was brother to Delores Jean (Jim) Ballard of Florida; Mary Frances (Maple) Collins of Florida; Laurel Glen Dunn of Maryland; Kenneth (Avonell) Dunn, Ewington; Dallas Lee (Judy) Dunn of Ewington; Sharon Louise (Howard) Rubin of Columbus; Barbara Joyce (Gary) Hunt of Ewington; and a faithful friend, "Oreo".

He was preceded in death by three sisters: Betty Fisher, Carylon Hahnert and Wanda Whynauch; brother, David Dunn; sister-in-law: Linda Dunn and brothers-in-law: Jim Fisher and George Hahnert. Albert had many friends and family members that will miss him greatly.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, March 27, 2014, at the Harvestime Church, Main St, Vinton, Ohio with Pastor Mike Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at the Harvestime Church 5:00-8:00 PM.
