Alice "Louise" Mccain

Alice "Louise" McCain, 59, Columbus, Ohio, passed away January 22, 2011 in The Ohio State University Hospital. She was born May 14, 1951 to Warren Leslie and Alice Louise (Adams) McCain. Louise grew up in Upper Arlington and belonged to First Community Church for many years. She and her older brother, Frank, were part of a large extended family of McCain's who gathered together often. They also enjoyed the company of their Adams cousins who lived in Mechanicsburg. She graduated from Upper Arlington High School and attended the University of Rio Grande before graduating from the Ohio State University. She retired from the Collection Department of Bank One.
Always looking past the worst of situations to focus on a better future was Louise's attitude. Her sunny disposition and great sense of humor will never be forgotten. Ohio State Football was a serious interest in her life and Christmas presents from Aunt Louise were often scarlet and gray themed. She found great happiness and contentment being part of her church family and made many special friends including Martha Harper, her husband Bill and Dan Bauer and wife, Clarice.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents and brother. She is survived by her nieces and nephew: Elizabeth (John) Fetherston; Amy McCain; Julia McCain; Tim (Stephanie Holland) McCain; sister-in-law, Carol (Carl) Langford; special family, Debbie and Alma Kirk.

Funeral Services will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Wagram United Methodist Church, 9535 Mink St SW, Reynoldsburg, Ohio with Rev. Tim Heaton officiate. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services. Private Burial will be conducted in the Mound Hill Cemetery, Gallipolis at the convenience of the family with Rev. Bill Thomas officiate. Arrangements made by the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio.
