Allen Eugene Brothers, 87, Bidwell, Ohio passed away peacefully at his home Sunday, May 5, 2019. He was born June 25, 1931 at Gallipolis, Ohio, son of the late Joshua Allen and Jessie Eugene (Palmer) Brothers. A United States Army Veteran, he was also a member of Eno Grange #2080 a Prospect Baptist Church. He married Bernice Lear July 6, 1955 at Greenup, Kentucky, who survives.

To this union were born three daughters: Rebecca (Anthony) Hill, Douglas, Georgia; Karen Lund, Hudson, Florida and Linda Thacker, Gallipolis, Ohio; grandchildren: Jennifer, Jenelle, Lacey, Jessica, Aaron, Melinda, Brittany and Austin as well as nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, May 9, 2019 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis with burial to follow in Pine Street Cemetery, Gallipolis, Ohio. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Thursday 12:00 PM to the time of service at 1:00 PM.
