Ann Elizabeth LaCoste

Ann Elizabeth LaCoste, 73 of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Saturday June 13, 2026, at her residence. She was born on December 11, 1952, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, daughter of the late George and Patricia (Arnold) Seyfried. Ann married Robert Bruce LaCoste Sr. of Gallipolis, Ohio, May 7, 1989, in Saline, Michigan and he survives.

Ann retired from Newhouse News of Washington D.C. following more than 30 years. She was the Network Administrator for the 1996 and 2000 Presidential Conventions. Ann enjoyed traveling, boating, camping, cooking and entertaining. Ann loved bird watching and all animals, even rescuing many and making them her pets.

In addition to her husband those left to cherish her memory are their children, Christopher (Amanda) Lotts, Parkton, Maryland, Kimberly (Doug) Startt, Pasadena, Maryland, Robert (Diane) LaCoste Jr., Lennon, Michigan, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Ann was preceded in death by two sons, Marc and Christopher John LaCoste, grandson, Dillon Green and two brothers, David and Thomas Seyfried.

Funeral services will be announced by the Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 403 South Fourth Ave. Ann Arbor, Michigan. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio is honored to serve the LaCoste family.
