Anthony Lewis Werry

Anthony Lewis "Tony" Werry, 72, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Friday, April 29, 2016 in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. He was born December 6, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan, son of the late Harold W. and Helen (Cardwell) Werry. He married Donna Jane Werry, who preceded him in death May 11, 2015. He was a member of the Centerville F & M Lodge, a former member of the Gallipolis Shrine Club and enjoyed playing music at McCoy's One Stop, Vinton, Ohio. Tony retired from Chrysler Corporation, Dayton, Ohio and Gallia County Engineers Office, Gallia County, Ohio.

He is survived by sons: Anthony Kevin (Ellen) Werry, Gallipolis and Eric Matthew (Lou Ellen) Werry, Bidwell, Ohio; grandchildren: Jessica Faye (Ryan) Ashworth, Gallipolis; Julia Faith (Christopher) Chapman, Ironton, Ohio; Kaleb Nicholas Werry, Jackson, Ohio; Jessica (David) Mills, Crown City, Ohio and great-grandchildren: Haley, Kaitlyn and Bryceton Ashworth; Carter and Paisley Chapman; Colton and Savannah Mills and Karlee and Sylas Werry; sister: Cynthia (Mike) Swisher, Syracuse, Ohio and nieces, Kelly and Misty as well as several loving nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:30 PM Thursday, May 5, 2016 in the Vinton Memorial Park, Vinton, Ohio. Friends and family may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis Thursday 11:00 AM-1:00 PM          .
