Ardilia (Cantrell) Northup

Ardilia Northup, 93, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at her residence. She was born November 11, 1918 in Huntington, West Virginia to the late Hiram and Ethel Marie Long Cantrell. She married her husband, Charles Lowell Northup, who preceded her in death November 9, 1991.

Ardilia is survived by her children, James Northup and Gerald L. (Sandy) Northup, both of Vinton, Ohio; Larry M. (Valerie) Northup, Canton, Ohio; Richard (Debbie) Northup and Ronnie V. Northup, both of Gallipolis, Ohio; Loretta Beaver, Leota Jean (Jack) Beaver and Shirley Ann (Loren) Beaver, all of Gallipolis; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Judy Northup, Bidwell; Sheila Northup, Gallipolis and Paullette Northup, Jackson, Ohio; and special friend and former daughter-in-law, Raelene Northup, Bidwell.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sons: Roy E., Blake M. and Hiram G. Northup, two brothers and a sister; daughter-in-law, Tilly Northup and son-in-law, Frank Beaver.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM May 18, 2012 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis with Rev. Kevin Northup officiating. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery, Gallipolis. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Friday one hour prior to the time of service. .
