Arlene Roush (Saunders) Tracy

Arlene Roush Tracy, 93, Bidwell (formerly of Rio Grande Community), passed away July 4, 2010. She was born August 5, 1916 in Gallia County, daughter of the late Leonard and Ruby Blazer Saunders. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Rio Grande; Eastern Star Gallipolis Chapter 283; Rio Grande Garden Club; RSVP -social work and a hospital volunteer; DAR; Farm Bureau Council; 4H Club Advisor for over 25 years and she sold Avon for over 50 years.

Arlene is survived by her husband, Rev. W. Luther Tracy, Gallipolis, whom she married December 20, 1970. Also surviving is daughter, Barbara Frownfelter, Hurst, Texas; stepdaughter, Margaret (Randy) Williams, Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Marianne Jeffers, Gallipolis, Ohio; two brothers, Paul B. (Betty) Saunders, Bidwell, Ohio and Robert (Vivian) Saunders, Sacramento, California.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Wendell W. Roush; son, David D. Roush; son-in-law, Jim Frownfelter; stepson, Mark Tracy and three brothers, Paris Saunders, Brian Saunders, and John Saunders.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday July 7, 2010 at Calvary Baptist Church in Rio Grande, with Rev. Heath Jenkins and Rev. Vinton Rankin, officiating. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, 4:00-7:00 PM Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Eastern Star Services will be conducted by the Gallipolis Chapter 283 at 6:45 PM Tuesday.
