Barbara Ann "Barb" Elkins, 67, Rio Grande, Ohio passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio after a long battle with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. Barb fought with everything she had until her final moments inspiring her family along the way. They are so very proud of the person she was and the inner strength she portrayed throughout this and her life.

Those left behind to cherish these memories include her loving children - Ashlie (Rodney) Cornell, Angie Elkins, Mackenize Shaw, Bridgette (Chris) Dodson and David (Jessica) Elkins. She was a cherished grandmother of Trae and Brandon Cornell, Anthony Abridello, Preslie Houck, Ilo, Emma and Bailey Dodson and Madison, Blake and Hunter Elkins as well as a dear sister to Jack (Andrea) Clark and Bill (Lisa) Clark. Barb will be fondly remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Ruth Clark and beloved husband, Mack Elkins.

The family would like to thank the Holzer Hospice Nurses that cared for her in her final days. Your devotion and hard work did not go unnoticed and words cannot describe how much we appreciate all you did for her care and comfort.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at the convenience of the family. Barb chose to donate her body to science research at The Ohio State University.
