Barbara Ellen (Gay) Marcum

Barbara Ellen Marcum, 58, Thurman, Ohio passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at Ohio State University. She was born October 31, 1957 to the late Mark G. and Betty Gay in Gallipolis, Ohio. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Darrell Marcum, Thurman, Ohio and two sons: Kevin Williams and Brad (Crystal) Marcum, both of Gallipolis, Ohio; three daughters: Jennifer Bias, Gallipolis, Ohio; Christiana (Josh) Long, Pliny, West Virginia and Hana Marcum, Thurman, Ohio; brother, Mark A. (Pat) Gay, Gallipolis, Ohio and brother-in-law, Kevin (Judy) Marcum, Vinton, Ohio; ten grandchildren and many extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, January 16, 2016 in His Way Community Church, Vinton with Pastor Mark Sarrett officiating. Burial will follow in the Pendelton-Marcum Cemetery. Friends may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, Friday 4:00–7:00 PM.
