Belinda Gay (Halfhill) Savage

Belinda Gay Halfhill Savage, 32, Columbus, Ohio (formerly of Gallia County, Ohio) passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus. She was born January 29, 1981 to the late Roger Athey and Terri George in Gallipolis, Ohio and she attended Gallia Academy High School.
Belinda is survived by her husband, James Savage; adoptive parents, Douglas Halfhill, Cheshire, Ohio and Donna Halfhill-Gibbs, Bidwell, Ohio and children: Devin Marcum, Morgan Center, Ohio and Brittany Halfhill-Gibbs, Bidwell, Ohio. Also surviving are brothers: John McGuire, Zephyr Hills, Florida; Lowell Halfhill, Cheshire, Ohio; James Halfhill, Point Pleasant, West Virginia; Todd Athey, Gallipolis, Ohio and Craig Athey; sisters: Constance Gibbs, Addison, Ohio; Trina Hopson, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by an infant son, Richard Heskett.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday, April 19, 2013 at the Morgan Center Holiness Church, Vinton, Ohio. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Vinton, Ohio. Friends may call at the church Friday 11:00 AM until the time of service.
