Bernard Dodd
April 12, 1934 — December 30, 2002
Bernard L. Dodd Sr., 68, Northup, Ohio died Monday, December 30, 2002 at his residence following a brief illness. He was born April 12, 1934 at St. Albans, West Virginia, son of the late John and Julia Slater Dodd. He served on the City of St. Albans Police Department for twenty-three years, serving as Chief of Police for five years. He was a member of Washington F&AM Lodge, St. Albans and a U.S. Army Veteran.
He is survived by a son, Bernard L. "Skip" (Melva) Dodd, Circleville, Ohio and daughter, Carol Anne Davis, Yuma, Arizona; three grandsons and two granddaughters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 31, 2002 in the Dodd Family Cemetery, Northup with Pastor Keith Hudson officiating.
