Betty I. (Denney) Davis

Betty I. (Green) Davis, 70, Bidwell, Ohio (Kerr Community) went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 21, 2003 in the St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia after a brief illness. She was born February 11, 1933 in Gallia County, daughter of the late Playford and Sylvia Mink Denney. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Robert L. Green in 1982 and later her second husband, Paul W. Davis in 1990. She was a member of the Jordan Baptist Church of Gallipolis Ferry, West Virginia, a homemaker, and most of all, a beloved Mother and Grandmother.

Betty is survived by two daughters: Bobbie K. Fisher, Gallipolis, Ohio and Rhonda (Marc) Stump, Bidwell, Ohio; two sons: Dana (Gail) Green, Bidwell, Ohio and Timothy L. (Cindy) Green, Gallipolis, Ohio; seven grandchildren: Dustin (Sonya) & Brenton Fisher; Stacy & Sarah Stump; Alisha, Derek and Andrea Green; one sister, Lucille Palmer, Cheshire, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded by son-in-law, Donald E. Fisher, January 14, 2002.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 24, 2003 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis with the Rev. Ronald Swiney officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Street Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from, 5:00-8:00 PM.
