Betty Yvonne (Dray) Camden

Betty Yvonne Camden, 69, Bidwell, Ohio went to be with our Lord Thursday, May 27, 2004 following an extended illness. She was born May 1, 1935 in Gallipolis, the daughter of the late Raymond and Mabel Plymale Dray. She was a member of Clipper Mill Church and attended many local churches throughout her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Harold; a granddaughter, Keli Dodrill; five brothers and two sisters.

Betty is survived by her husband of forty-eight years, Joe Camden Jr. of Bidwell whom she married October 30, 1955 at Clipper Mill. To this union were born three daughters: Pamela (Daniel) Sheets, Crown City; Josie (John) McClintock, Gallipolis and Ginger (Dennis Sr.) Dodrill, Vinton. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Cory (Terri) Camden, Rio Grande; Cody Camden, Crown City; Dennis Dodrill Jr., Vinton and Mitchell McClintock, Point Pleasant, West Virginia; one great-grandson, Levi Dodrill; one brother, Jack (Jeannie) Dray, Gallipolis; one sister, Edith Irene Dray, Gallipolis and several nieces, nephews and a host of extended family members.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton. Burial will follow in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 6:00-9:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
