Betty Jo (Newsome) Comer

Betty Comer, 79, Rockbridge, Ohio, passed away Friday, June 21, 2019 in the Pickering House, Lancaster, Ohio. She was born December 10, 1939 at Naugatuck, West Virginia, daughter of the late Golden and Edith (Marcum) Newsome. She married Marvin Comer who precedes her in death December 1998.

Betty is survived by her son, Bill Comer, Rockbridge, Ohio; granddaughter, Megan Comer; brothers: Floyd (Pam) Newsome and Kenny (Tina) Newsome, both of Vinton, Ohio; sisters: Lucy Travis and Marlene Apicella, both of North Carolina and companion, Jerry Colberson, Rockbridge, Ohio.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 12:00 Noon in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, with Brother Don Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in the Marcum Family Cemetery, Vinton. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Wednesday 11:00 AM to the service hour of 12:00 Noon.
