Betty (Buck) Phillips

Betty Buck Phillips, 89, Scottsdale, Arizona passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016. She was born October 14, 1926 in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late William and Pauline (Young) Buck. She grew up in Rutland, Ohio where she graduated from Rutland High School before marrying Roger Phillips November 27, 1947. They resided in Wilkesville, Ohio and Middleport, Ohio before moving to Scottsdale, Arizona. Betty was employed for many years at the Arizona State University before retiring December 15, 1988, the same day her grandson was born.
She is survived by her two children: Randy (Susie) Phillips and Rita (Craig) Phillips and grandson, Reid Phillips.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger, in 2013.
Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 AM Saturday, July 16, 2016 in the Vinton Memorial Park with Pastor Heath Jenkins officiating.
