Betty J. (Thornsbury) Hunt

Betty J. Hunt, 73, Vinton, Ohio (Alice Community) passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Pike County, Kentucky February 5, 1940 to the late Roscoe and Della Adkins Thornsbury.
Betty married Louis Hunt in Pikeville, Kentucky May 28, 1956 and he survives. To this union were born daughters: Kathy (Charles) Berry, Gallipolis, Ohio; Karen (Bret) Tackett, Bidwell, Ohio and Tammy (Charles) Price, Vinton, Ohio; son, Gary (Barbara) Hunt, Vinton, Ohio; grandchildren: Wendy (Matt) Little, Kevin (Heather) Hunt, Brent (Kate) Tackett, Amy Caldwell, Shannon Hunt, Susan (Stephen) Guy, Tamara Berry, Courtney Price and twelve great-grandchildren. She is also survived by four sisters: Christine (August) Worch, Michigan; Paula Hampton, Lexington, Kentucky; Geraldine (Perry) Justice, Pikeville, Kentucky and Claudine Coleman, Pikeville, Kentucky.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Bobby Thornsbury and two sisters, Magaline Builter and Evaline Blackburn.
Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 PM Friday, May 17, 2013 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, Ohio with Rev. Chester Hess officiating. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Friday.
