Beulah M. Cremeans, 88, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Arbors of Gallipolis. She was born September 8, 1923 in Cabell County, West Virginia, daughter of the late Roy and Betty Scarberry Mount. She was a graduate of East High School, Huntington, West Virginia.

Beulah married Richard Cremeans on April 28, 1941, in Ironton, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on September 18, 1999 following fifty-eight years of marriage. She and Richard owned and operated the Bidwell Hardware and Grocery Store prior to their retirement. Her memberships included the Emblem Club; Christian Women, Gallipolis; and Moose Ledge, Pt Pleasant, West Virginia. She was also a member of the Vinton Baptist Church and attended the Nazarene Church of Gallipolis.

In addition to Richard, she was preceded in death by their only son, Richie Roy Cremeans in November, 1995; a sister, Betty Morrison; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Worthy and Opal Cremeans.

Surviving are sister, Dorothy Gibson, Jenks, Oklahoma; three nieces: Gladys McClelland, Vinton, Ohio; Nancy Olie, Cleveland, Ohio and Jamie Vogt, Jenks, Oklahoma; three cousins: Richard Mount, Norman Mount and Anna Mae Mitchell; great-niece and great-nephew: Marsha (Gary) Hanes and Danny Olie; two great-great nieces: Cara (Corey) Luce and Jill (Isaac) Saunders; her best friend, Martha Schaeffing, Gallipolis, and many extended family members.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, December 16, 2011 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis with Rev. Chester Hess officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, 5:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Gifts may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
