Beulah Dorcas (Snyder) White

Beulah Dorcas White, 85, Vinton, Ohio (formerly Steubenville, Ohio), passed away in Holzer Medical Center, Jackson, Sunday, January 9, 2005. She was born September 1, 1919, at Alice, Ohio, daughter of the late Rev. Bert Snyder and Pearl Shively Snyder. She married Floyd White, June 22, 1938, in Greenup, Kentucky and he preceded her in death December 8, 1996. Also preceding her in death was a brother-in-law, Ernest "Bug" Thacker.
Surviving are three children: Larry (Joyce) White, Steubenville, Ohio, Rick (Chris) White, Vinton, Ohio and Carolyn White, Jackson, Ohio; six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and one sister, Joan Thacker, Vinton as well as several nieces and nephews.
Dorcas attended the Fairview Church of Christ in Christian Union, Ewington, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 12, 2005 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with Rev. Denver McCarty and Rev. A.B. Maloy officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call the funeral home on Tuesday, 6:00 to 9:00 PM.
