Billy Jo Meadows, 83, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Monday, April 14, 2014 in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. Born August 2, 1930 at Paintsville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Dakota and Alka (Robinson) Helton. Billy Jo worked at Ohio Valley Bank as Head of Bookkeeping for 36 years. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Gallipolis; Grace Guild and the Red Hat Society. She was married to Jack Meadows who preceded her in death April 12, 2004.

Billy Jo is survived by daughters Roseann (Gary) McClaskey, Vinton, Ohio and Lori (Brent) Billings, Gallipolis; grandchildren: Tracy (Jeff) Steger, Gallipolis; Pete (Jesi) McClaskey and JoBeth (Eric) Bowcott, both of Bidwell, Ohio and Cody Billings, Gallipolis; great-grandchildren: Brooklynn Plantz, Jamie Steger, Logan Bowcott, C.J. McClaskey, Josie Bowcott and many special friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Doug and Bufford Helton and sisters, Gertrude Boothe, Elizabeth Earl, Ori O'Connell and Hati Louise Brennen.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, April 17, 2014 in the Grace United Methodist Church Chapel, 200 2nd Ave, Gallipolis with Pastor Bill Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery, Mason County, West Virginia. Friends and family may call 5:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, April 16 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis.
