Bradford Eugene "Brad" Fillinger

Bradford Eugene "Brad" Fillinger, 71, Bidwell, Ohio passed away at his residence Thursday, July 10, 2013. He was born July 13, 1941 in Monaca, Pennsylvania, son of the late Paul Wells Fillinger and Anna Martha Sexton Fillinger. Brad spent his childhood in Pennsylvania and had lived in Bidwell, Ohio for the past twenty-five years. He was a US Army Veteran; member of the Gallipolis DAV Post 53 and Past Post Commander and the Vinton American Legion Post 161.
He is survived by two brothers and five sisters: Paul Lloyd and Howard Fillinger, both of Pennsylvania; Anna Mae Fraser, Pennsylvania; Lola Jane Chambers and Barbara Jean Cathers, Williamsburg, Virginia; Margaret Fillinger, Virginia and Donna Cole, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday July 13, 2013 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton with Pastor Larry Drummond officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park. Military Graveside Rites will be conducted by the Vinton American Legion Post 161. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday, 6:00-8:00 PM.
