Bradley E. Harder

Bradley E. Harder, 78, Ewington, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at his residence Wednesday morning, July 13, 2011. He was a self-employed Contractor and Brick Mason who retired in 2007. He was a fifty year member of the Brick Layers Union, Local 45. A life long resident of Gallia County, he was born in Ewington on November 2, 1932, son of the late Karl and Doris Snyder Harder.

He married Virginia Evans October 2, 1952 in Ewington and she survives with three children: Steve and Becky Harder, Patriot, Ohio; Jeff and Lisa Harder, Ewington; and Lesa Harder, Gallipolis, Ohio; grandchildren: Bridget (John Manley) Harder, Patriot; Stephen Bradley (Courtney) Harder, Bidwell; Brylee Harder, Patriot; Amanda Harder, Vinton; Scott (Samantha) Harder, Bidwell; Tiffany and Kayla McComas, Vinton; Lindsay (Nick) Russell, Mt. Alto, West Virginia; Heather (Nick Guinther) Caldwell, Gallipolis; and Jonathan Caldwell, Gallipolis; great-grandchildren: Carlee and John "Budder" Manley, Braylee Mayes and Bristol Harder, and Baylen Russell.

Also surviving are three brothers and one sister: Ted (Helen) Harder, Ocala, Florida; Cletus (Nan) Harder, Gallipolis; Phyllis Mulholand, Wilkesville, Ohio and Terry (Teresa) Harder, West Jefferson, Ohio.

Preceding him in death was a brother-in-law, James Mulholand.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 16, 2011 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with Rev. Heath Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Tyn Rhos Cemetery, Thurman. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday 4:00-8:00 PM.
