Brenda Joyce (Finley) Wolford

Brenda Joyce Wolford, 74, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, following a lengthy illness. She was born October 29, 1948 in Huntington, West Virginia, daughter of the late Dallas Finley and Virginia (Perdue) Fraley. A retired nurse, she was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and her pride and joy were her three granddaughters.

Brenda will be missed by her son, Chris (Holly) Petro; granddaughters, Madison, Morgan and Mallory Petro; stepmother, Carol Finley; stepsisters, Vickie Finley and Karen Finley; stepbrothers, Kennith Finley and Steve Finley; special niece and nephews, Jenny Bowden, Larry (Mary Lynne) Thacker and Bobby (Brandi) Thacker; special friend, Donna Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by a son, Timmy Petro; husbands, Michael Petro and Donald Wolford; sister, Mary "Cathy" Thacker; stepbrother, Dallas Finley; stepfather, Bernard Fraley and stepmother, Helen Fraley.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio, who is honored to serve the Brenda's Family. Private Memorial services for Brenda will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
