Mrs. Brenda Collins Wells passed on to Glory into the nail scarred hand of Jesus August 24, 2020 after a battle with liver and kidney disease. She was born July 25, 1951 in West Liberty, Kentucky, daughter of Leewood and Juanita Collins.
She graduated from Mifflin High School and Nationwide Beauty School in Columbus, Ohio. She was an active member of Calvary Apostolic Church, Columbus, Ohio. She married her husband, Frank Wells, October 5, 1974 and they moved to Aberdeen, North Carolina in 1979 where she ws active in church promoting the love of Jesus Christ. She owned and operated Dynamatrix Weight Loss Clinic.
Brenda loved her family, especially her mother. When "Granny" needed her medical visits and care, she made it happen. She loved being a homemaker and making it a home for all seasons. She loved her animals and every stray up and down the highway.
She is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Frank; mother, Juanita Wiblin, Ashley Heights, North Carolina; siblings: Diana Brown, Fayetteville, North Carolina; L. T. "Tommy" Brown, Lancaster, Ohio; L. B. and Stella "Sissy" Caskey, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; brother-in-law, Walter E. Wells, Vinton, Ohio; sister-in-law, Joe and Constance White, Wilkesville, Ohio and June Wells, Vinton, Ohio as well as many cousins, nephews and nieces.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Tom and Mary Lou Davis and Thorton and Reba Keaton.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 1, 2020 in the Vinton Memorial Park, Vinton, Ohio. Local arrangements are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel.
