Bryce Lynn Smith

Bryce Lynn Smith, 78, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Ohio State East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born January 26, 1947, in Gallia County, son of the late Harold and Evelyn (Saunders) Smith. He graduated from Pomeroy High School in 1965 and earned a Bachelor's Degree from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio in 1969.

Bryce helped a lot of people during his fifty-two years as a Financial Advisor. He loved his clients and treated them as family. In addition, Bryce helped countless individuals in the community. Bryce would give you his shirt off his back. He was truly a person who was a friend to everyone and an enemy to none.

Bryce is survived by his wife, Nancy, of fifty-six years, daughter Wendy (Robert) Ashford, Margate, Florida and son Ryan (Vicki) Smith, Bidwell, Ohio. Also surviving are grandchildren, Grant Smith, Ethan Ashford, Blake Smith, Bella Ashford, Kennedy Smith, Mackenzie Bradbury, Camryn Smith; brother, Mark (Jenny) Smith of Gallipolis, Ohio and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family.

In addition to his parents Bryce was preceded in death by daughter, Meredith Smith Bradbury.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 PM Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Grace Methodist Church, Gallipolis with Pastor Ray Kane officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Hill Cemetery, Gallipolis. Friends may call at the church Friday 4:00-7:00 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis who is honored to serve the Smith Family.
