Buford Ball, 75, Porter, Ohio, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Pleasant Valley Hospital, Point Pleasant, West Virginia. He was born May 8, 1939 to the late Lewis Coy and Orpha E. Baldwin Ball. He is survived by his wife, Kay Frances Hawks Ball, who he married September 2, 1961. He retired in 1983 from Die Cast Corporation in Jackson, Michigan. Buford was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Bidwell, Ohio; Vinton Masonic Lodge 131; Vinton Order of Eastern Star Chapter 375 and the Gallipolis Shrine Club 32nd York Rite and 32nd Scottish Rite, Gallipolis, Ohio.

Buford is also survived by a daughter, Mitzie Derror, Parma, Michigan; brother, John (Rose Lee) Ball, Kopperston, West Virginia; sisters: Geneva (John) Cantrell, Madison Heights Virginia and Elaine (Gene) Caton, Orient, Ohio; grandchildren: Freddy (Nicole) Neubecker and Kayla Jo Derror; great-grandchildren: Riley, Melayna, Olivea, Kloe, Lily, Bella and Fredie.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Buford W. Ball; daughter, Christine Neubecker; son-in-law, Rick Derror; three brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel with Rev. Dan Lamphier officiating. Burial will follow in Brush Cemetery, Vinton, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 4:00-8:00 PM. Masonic Services will be conducted 7:45 PM Monday by the Vinton F&AM Lodge #131.
