Carol "Kay" (Bischoff) Hall

Carol "Kay" Hall, 79, formerly of Vinton, Ohio, passed away at the home of her daughter, Barbara Moore of Powell, Ohio Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Kay, as she was known, was an avid flower gardener who loved to travel and who enjoyed her family and friends where she was always the "life of the party".
Kay was born September 5, 1935 in Amherst, Ohio, daughter of the late Elmer Bischoff and Martha Coverdale Bischoff. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Hall June 29, 2004 and by a grandson and three sisters.
Surviving are two sons and six daughters: Kathrine Hall, Grafton, Ohio; Della (Tom) Starcher, Vermillion, Ohio; Gail (Sam) Meade, Bidwell, Ohio; Barbara Moore, Powell, Ohio; Ruth Darst, Gallipolis, Ohio; James Hall Jr., Vinton, Ohio; Ray (Pam) Hall, Wellston, Ohio and Debra (Gary) Jones, Addison, Ohio. Also surviving are twenty grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and two special caretakers: Janet Irish and Jo Schriveman, both of Columbus, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Sunday, December 28, 2014 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery near Vinton. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday 4:00-7:00 PM.
